PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk drive unit which can adjust ejection amount of a disk shape recording medium from a slot and an electronic device. SOLUTION: Since a disk conveyance mechanism 34 is equipped with a control mechanism 120 to control transfer of an arm mechanism 135 on the way, the disk drive unit 1 can control for example, transfer of the arm mechanism 135 on the way in ejecting a large diameter disk 2A from a slot 19, adjust (reduce) force of the arm mechanism 135 for extruding a large diameter disk 2A, and adjust ejection amount of a large diameter disk 2A from the slot 19. Consequently, the large diameter disk 2A can be easily taken out from the slot 19 and also the drop out of the large diameter disk 2A from the slot 19 can be prevented by making the ejection amount of the large diameter disk 2A from the slot 19, for example, to the extent of length of the radius of the large diameter disk 2A.
