<p>Physiologically acceptable films, including edible films, are disclosed. The films include a water soluble film-forming polymer such as pullulan. Edible films are disclosed that include pullulan and pharmaceutically active agents such as antimicrobial agent, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents, anti-tussives, decongestants, anti-histamines, expectorants, anti-diaherrals, H 2 -antagonists, proton pump inhibitors, central nervous system agents, analgesics and mixtures thereof.</p> |
