A modified release pharmaceutical formulation is disclosed, which comprises, as active ingredient, a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of a compound of formula (I), wherein R1 represents -CHF2 or -CH2CH2F; R2 represents hydrogen, hydroxy, methoxy or ethoxy; and n represents 0 or 2; and a pharmaceutically acceptable diluent or carrier. These modified release pharmaceutical formulations are suitable for the treatment of a cardiovascular disorder.
