FIELD: processing of waste water sediments in public water purification works. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in preliminary dehydration of sediments of primary settlers and activated sludge, mixing with sand taken from sand traps, decontamination by means of reagent, thus obtaining utilization product by means of additional decontamination of sediments with the aid of decontaminant in form of complex powder reagent of the following composition, mass-%: clay, 40.0-60.0; lime, 5.0-40.0; cement, 5.0-40.0; complexing agent selected from the following series: mixture of metal oxides, ash, crushed slag, dolomite flour, ground limestone, 5.0-10.0.
