<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscopic apparatus capable of making a casing part and an insertion part to be compact and simplifying the structure. <P>SOLUTION: The endoscopic apparatus 1 is for observing a subject 2, and comprises a light source part 3 for emitting laser beams, a light guide 5 extended in one direction for guiding the laser beams emitted from the light source part 3, the slender insertion part 7 with a fluorescent body 6 for emitting white excitation light when irradiated with the laser beams guided by the light guide 5, to be inserted into the subject 2, the casing part 10 with a power supply unit (a power supply part) 8 for feeding the electric power to the light source part 3, and an intermediate part 11 which connects the casing part 10 and the insertion part 7.
