PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label formation method or the like of a label forming apparatus in which a plurality of labels having a printed part and a processed part in each label positionally shifted in a tape feed direction are prevented from being formed. SOLUTION: In the label formation method of the label forming apparatus, a printing section which carries out printing to a handling tape while sending the tape on the basis of input information, and a processing section which carries out physical processing to the handling tape while sending the tape on the basis of the input information are provided. The printing, processing and printing/processing can be selectively carried out. At the same time, a continuous process of forming continuous labels composed of a plurality of labels connected is enabled.
