PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To be suitable when applied to a portable audio reproducing device for instance and to reduce the loads of a server unit which distributes contents. SOLUTION: The audio reproducing device 3 for reproducing audio contents is provided with a CPU 10, a USB interface 14 and a radio interface 18 for acquiring the audio contents by being connected with a server 2 for distributing the audio contents or another audio reproducing device 3 for providing the audio contents acquired from the server 2, a hard disk drive 15 for storing the audio contents, and the CPU 10 and an audio output circuit 23 for reading and reproducing the audio contents.
