<p num="1"><br/><br/><br/>A process for making a thermoplastic vulcanizate includes blending a <br/>thermoplastic first polymer, an elastomeric second polymer, a carboxylic <br/>anhydride, a free radical generator, and a tackifier to provide a tacky first <br/>blend containing the thermoplastic first polymer and grafted elastomeric <br/>second polymer with the tackifier dispersed therein; then, reacting the first <br/>blend with a silane to provide a non-tacky thermoplastic vulcanizate product.<br/>
