PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of making driveability and wet performance compatible. SOLUTION: A circumferential thin groove 38 formed in a shoulder block row 24 is constituted such that groove width and groove depth are gradually increased as it advances from a terminal end 38A to an opening 38B. Thereby, water taken-in in the circumferential thin groove 38 is smoothly discharged from the terminal end 38A side to a lug groove 34 side through the opening 38B. Thereby, since water discharge property in the shoulder block row 24 can be made well, the wet performance can be ensured. Further, by the above constitution of the circumferential thin groove 38, a volume of the shoulder block 36 is increased as it advances from the opening 38B side of the circumferential thin groove 38 toward the terminal end 38A side.
