<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sales information management system and method allowing a user to acquire detailed information through access to a host computer of a site based on information attached to a medium, while allowing the host computer to easily create data about access information. <P>SOLUTION: The sales information management system has a two-dimensional code scanner 65 for reading pieces of information including the connection information 21a of a two-dimensional code 22 attached to a receipt 19, a commodity code 21c, a receipt number 21d, and a customer code 21e; and a display part 71 for displaying the pieces of information read. When user information 21b is sent to the host computer 12 according to the connection information 21a, the host computer 12 sends detailed information to a terminal 17 according to the commodity code 21c, stores the user information 21b in a site database 22, and creates access information 22a based on the user information 21b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
