<p>In an optical disc device, the repetition control method can be introduced by performing an optimal and stable positioning control without eliminating unnecessary learning. A disc control device having a repetition control circuit includes a defect detection unit (5), a disc position detection unit (9), and a disc rpm detection unit (10). According to the detection results of these detection units, it is possible to control storing and reading into/from a storage unit (3) used as a learning memory and modify the memory division number of the storage unit (3). When it is apparent that a component having periodicity is caused by a partial camming or a partial eccentricity, the resolution is increased and stored in the storage unit (3) while a small noise and a noise component having no periodicity are not stored in the storage unit (3), thereby enabling stable focus tracking control even when an external turbulence such as the device vibration or a disc scar is mixed.</p> |
