<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tag reader for easily registering identification information without registering the identification information of any other unnecessary non-contact IC medium existing in the periphery, its control method, a program and a recording medium for recording the program. <P>SOLUTION: This tag reader is provided with a radio interface part for transmitting and receiving information including identification information for a non-contact IC medium attached to an identification object, a reading part for reading the identification information of the non-contact IC medium and a control part for registering the identification number of the non-contact IC medium to be read by the reading part in a database, and configured to perform transmission and reception processing by radio communication, and to perform the transmission and reception of information with the non-contact IC medium, and to read the identification information of the non-contact IC medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
