<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar LED light source device downsized by efficiently mixing single-color light irradiated from the light source inside a light guide plate. <P>SOLUTION: The LED planar light source device 1 is provided with a light guide plate 2, and an LED light source irradiating single-color light with different wavelengths on an incident part at an end face of the light guide plate. The light guide plate is a light-dispersing one with a dispersant uniformly dispersed in transparent resin, with a density y (ppm) of the dispersant satisfying: 100≤y≤1,000(ppm) when a difference x of refractive indices of the transparent resin and the dispersant is: 0.01≤x≤0.1, satisfying: 10≤y≤500 (ppm) when a difference x of refractive indices is 0.1<x<0.5, and satisfying 1≤y≤10 (ppm) when a difference x of refractive indices is 0.5≤x, and light irradiating mechanism 10, 14, 16 are formed on a top face and a bottom face of the light guide plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
