<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily discover any mistake relating to the identification of an index by allowing the index whose identification has failed to be maintained to make it easy for the user to understand. <P>SOLUTION: An index is detected from an image photographed by an imaging apparatus. As for the index whose index position is preliminarily registered, the position of the index in the image is estimated based on the measurement result of the position attitude of the imaging apparatus. The identification of the index is operated based on the estimated position of the index and the position of the index, and the index whose identification has failed among the indexes whose positions are estimated is displayed so as to be discriminated from the other indexes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
