PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brightness level distribution graph independent of a gamma characteristic. SOLUTION: An image processing device includes an input means for inputting image data, a gamma correction means for performing a gamma correction to the image data inputted by the input means, and a generation means for generating a graph indicating a distribution of a brightness level of the image data to which the gamma correction is performed. The generation means sets a scale of the brightness level of the graph so that intervals of output values after the gamma correction corresponding to a plurality of input values of an equal interval before the gamma correction may become equal.
