Use of butylene phthalate in the production of thermoplastic dentures

Use of cyclic butyleneterephthalate oligomer (I) for the preparation of thermoplastic dentures or for the manufacture of raw materials for the thermoplastic dentures. Independent claims are included for: (1) raw materials for the preparation of thermoplastic dentures comprising (wt.%): cyclic butyleneterephthalate oligomer (50-99.9); polycaprolactone (0-20); initiators (0.001-2); inorganic fillers (0-50); and organic fillers (0-50); and (2) the preparation of thermoplastic dentures comprising modeling the parts that are to be replaced, in wax, embedding the wax model, hardening the embedded material, removing the wax, contacting the liquid cyclic butylene terephthalate oligomer mixture into the emerged cavity and hardening the mixture.
