An apparatus for magnifying the screen size of a display device and a method of manufacturing the apparatus are provided to magnify the picture of a display device with a simple configuration. An apparatus(10) for magnifying the screen size of a display device(20) includes a bundle of light transfer media(100). The bundle of light transfer media includes an input plane and an output plane(220). The input plane has a size corresponding to the screen of the display device and comes into contact with the screen of the display device. The output plane is larger than the input plane and displays an image displayed on the screen of the display device, which is received through the input plane. The bundle of light transfer media transfers light inputted to input terminals to output terminals. The input plane is formed of the input terminals of the light transfer media, and the output plane is formed of the output terminals of the light transfer media.
