<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device which can correct the color tones of image output equipment by restricting unnecessary color tone conversions. <P>SOLUTION: An image reader 601 comprises: first output image data derived by reading a first output result; geometric conversion parameter estimation means 42 which estimates geometric conversion parameters for aligning image positions in second output image data derived by reading a second output result with the image reader; color tone conversion means 47 which applies color tone conversion to manuscript image data by using color tone conversion parameters to generate intermediate image data; color difference information acquisition means 52 which acquires color difference information on the first output image data and the second output image data or distance information acquisition means which acquires distance information; weighting determination means 54 which determines for each pixel or pixel block in intermediate image data a weighting value based on the color difference information or the distance information; and image data synthesis means 55 which synthesizes the manuscript image data and the intermediate image data which has been weighted by the weighting value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
