PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus or the like capable of more accurately reading an original even when vibration by an operation of an image forming section is delivered to an original read section in a state in which the image forming apparatus is installed. SOLUTION: The original read section adjusts read image information resulting from reading an original on the basis of tentative read image information resulting from reading a prescribed image by the original read section when the image forming section carries out a prescribed operation and reference image information to be read when the original read section reads the prescribed image.
