PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable composition for a hair dye, having a high effect of masking unpleasant smell derived from ammonia, etc., blended in a hair color composition, and stable in an alkaline product or in an acidic solution product. SOLUTION: This stable composition for the hair dyestuff is provided by incorporating at least 1 kind of a compound selected from dihydrocitronellylnitrile, 2,2,6-trimethylcyclohexanecarboxylic acid ethyl ester, 2-ethyl-4-(2,2,3-trimethyl-3-cyclopenten-1-yl)-2-buten-1-ol, 2,2,6-trimethylcyclohexyl-3-hexanol, 1-(2-methyl-2-propenyloxy)-2,2,4-trimethylpentan-3-ol, thioglycerol, dibutyl sulfide, thiogeraniol, thiocineole, 2-methyl-4-propyl-1,3-oxathiane, 4-methoxy-2-methyl-2-butanethiol, etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
