PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support direction adjustment of an antenna by using a low speed analog MODEM so as to transmit delay profile information or the like without the need for an exclusive video line and an apparatus and a line for network connection. SOLUTION: An FPU remote control system including a transmitter for transmitting a video signal, a receiver for receiving a transmitted signal, and a control apparatus for remotely controlling an antenna of the receiver, converts at least the delay profile information representing a transmission state of a received radio wave into a still picture corresponding to angle information of the antenna of the receiver, transmits the still picture to the control apparatus together with corresponding antenna angular information, displays the antenna angle information corresponding to the transmitted still picture on a display apparatus of the control apparatus as a list, and adjusts the direction of the antenna of the receiver to an angle achieving an optimum transmission state on the basis of the angle information of the antenna corresponding to the listed-up still picture.
