PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular footrest capable of allowing a driver to reliably recognize the control by an automatic traveling device, reducing the driver's unnecessary operational intervention to driving and braking during automatic traveling as much as possible, and allowing the driver's feet to be placed thereon at ease during automatic traveling. SOLUTION: A vehicle having an automatic traveling device to automatically control the driving and the braking of the vehicle independently from a driver's operation has a footrest provided with an angle-adjustable footrest plate 7, and an electromagnetic actuator 10 to provide the operational force and the reaction force to the footrest plate 7. During the constant-speed traveling control by the automatic traveling device, the footrest plate 7 is maintained at an intermediate angle. The footrest plate 7 is changed in the state of the maximum angle of inclination while the electromagnetic actuator 10 is turned OFF during the accelerated control, and changed in the state of the minimum angle of inclination by the operation of the electromagnetic actuator 10 during the decelerated control.
