ANALOG SYSTEM FOR INDICATING THE CONNECTION STATUS OF A SELECTED SUBSET ZD OF THE ELECTRICAL LOADS Z PARALLEL-CONNECTED TO A POWER SUPPLY

An analog system for indicating the connection status of a selected subset Z_d of the electrical loads Z parallel-connected to a power supply. The present invention enables the loads parallel-connected to a sinusoidal voltage supply (1)u₀(f₀) to be divided in an analog manner into those to be detected (2) Z_d and those not to be detected (3) Z_f using a sinusoidal voltage supply (6)e₁(f₁) and filters, whereafter it is determined, following prior selection of an acceptable load threshold, whether or not the loads to be detected include one or more connected loads that have a consumption rate or size such that they ought to be disconnected, but without indicating the load in question (if any). No additional cable-laying is required and the power supply line itself is used as the communication medium.
