<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium secondary battery capable of manufacturing an anode can in a short time, using a simple manufacturing method and capable of obtaining superior charge/discharge cycling characteristics of the battery for stably maintaining bond between the active materials and between the active material and a current collector, irrespective of serious volume changes in the anode active material which occurs at charging/discharging of the battery. <P>SOLUTION: This lithium secondary battery contains a photopolymerizable material constituted of an anode mixture containing a silicon based or a tin based active material as an anode active material and one ore more kinds of monomers selected from a group comprising an epoxy derivative, polyester acrylate and epoxy acrylate as a binder, or their oligomers or their polymer. The anode mixture is applied to the current collector, and the applied anode mixture is polymerized by photoirradiation to obtain superior charge/discharge cycling characteristics of the battery. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
