A dongle type RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) reader antenna and a dongle are provided to improve a gain by increasing a relative area of a ground plane for a radiator. A dongle type RFID reader antenna(200) includes a substrate(210), a radiator(230), a feed unit(250), a ground surface, and a ground unit(270). The radiator is formed in the substrate. The radiator includes a first radiation element(231) and a second radiation element(233). The first radiation element is arranged in the vertical direction. The first radiation element generates the orthogonal polarization. The second radiation element is arranged in the horizontal direction. The second radiation device generates the horizontal polarization. The feed unit is connected to the first and second radiation elements. The ground surface is formed in the rear surface of the substrate. The ground unit is electrically connected to the radiator and the ground surface.
