<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary motion transmitting device in which meshing precision of an outer toothed body and driving gear that are provided at a peripheral portion of a carrier and a supporting rigidity of the outer toothed body can be improved. <P>SOLUTION: The rotary motion transmitting device is equipped with first and second planetary gears 4, 5 which mashes with first and second sun gears 1, 2 arranged coaxially in a freely rotatable manner to rotate integrally with one another, a carrier 6 for supporting the planetary gears 4, 5 and including the outer toothed body 7 at its periphery, a housing 3 for housing the carrier 6, a first electric motor 9 for rotating the driving gear 8 meshing with the outer toothed body 7, a pair of decelerating gears 10 connected to the first sun gear 1, a second electric motor 11 which gears with and is coupled to the decelerating gears 10 and applies required torque to the first sun gear 1 depending on torque applied to the second sun gear. Further, the housing 3 incorporates first and second bearings 17, 19 for supporting both sides of the outer toothed body 7 in the carrier 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
