PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker apparatus capable of reducing disturbance in a high frequency characteristic due to harmonic distortion and adjusting a low sound resonance frequency (fo) as intended by ensuring a desired compliance without variations over the whole region around a diaphragm because a degree of adjustment freedom of the compliance in an edge damper is high. SOLUTION: The compliance around the diaphragm is uniformized and a degree of the adjustment freedom thereof is enhanced by forming reinforcement ribs 27 of a convexoconcave structure to an outer circumferential part of a damper main body 17a of the edge damper 17 integrated to an outer circumference of a dome type diaphragm 15, and the rigidity of the dome type diaphragm 15 is enhanced by radially forming reinforcement ribs 24 by grooves or ridges extended from around a dome center part toward a dome outer circumferential side to the dome center.
