PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a therapeutic agent for acoustic trauma deafness containing an anti-cell death activity-enhancing protein FNK. SOLUTION: The therapeutic or prophylactic agent for the acoustic trauma deafness contains the FNK protein having at least one substitution selected from the substitution of the 22nd Tyr of Bcl-xLprotein with Phe, the substitution of the 26th Gln with Asn, and the substitution of the 165th Arg with Lys as an active ingredient.
