PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer system capable of retaining matching property of data to be stored in a logical volume. SOLUTION: In the computer system including a storage system provided with a disk controller controlling reading and writing of data in a disk device and a host computer transmitting a request to the storage system, the disk controller includes a control part and a storage part, the disk device includes logical volumes that are areas for storing data, and the host computer transmits a request to logical volume and attribute of logical volume. The control part executes the received request, and stores the received attribute information in the storage part in conformation to the logical volume. When a request to logical volume thereafter received from the host computer satisfies the attribute information related to the logical volume concerned stored in the storage part, the control part determines execution of this request.
