A streetlight bidirectional remote control system using a relay method is provided to prevent malfunction by promptly recognizing an operation state of a system and construct a stable system for the long run. A main controller(10) stores and outputs data for remotely monitoring and control. A communication device(20) discriminates data received from the main controller(10) and transmits it, and transmits collected data to the main controller(10). A plurality of master controllers(30) store data received from the communication device(20), transmit it, add stored data to collected data, and transmit it to the communication device(20). A plurality of sub-controllers(40) are installed at a plurality of streetlights and perform a process for transceiving data with the master controllers(30). The sub-controller(40) stores the data received from the master controller(30) and transmits it to a different sub-controller(40), and adds its data to data collected from the different sub-controller(40) and transmits it to the master controller(30) so that the data can be transmitted to the main controller(10) through the communication device(20).
