<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting display device and a manufacturing method of the same, capable of easily removing the protective layer, formed on a pad part without utilizing separately prepared mask. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the light emitting display device, having an image display part and a pad part on which at least one terminal electrically jointed to the image display part is formed on a substrate, comprises a step of forming a thin-film transistor, and at least one light-emitting element, electrically jointed to the thin-film transistor, including a first electrode layer, a light-emitting layer, and a second electrode layer; a step of forming the protective layer on the second electrode layer of the light-emitting element and the pad part; a step of sealing the image forming part on the protective layer; and a step of exposing the terminal by removing the protective layer at least formed on the pad part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
