METHOD FOR ELECTRICALLY INSULATING POWDER PARTICLE OF MAGNETIC CONDUCTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for electrically insulating the surface of a powder particle of a magnetic conductor with silica. SOLUTION: The method for electrically insulating the surface of the powder particle of the magnetic conductor comprises the steps of: coating the surface of the powder particle of the magnetic conductor with a perhydropolysilazane solution; and oxidizing a resultant coating at room temperature to form a silica film on the surface of the conductor particle. The conductor particle coated with the silica film is mixed with an organic binder and a silane coupling agent, and then is press-formed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
