PURPOSE: An LCD device is provided to input a predetermined signal through a display surface of an LCD panel, and to be driven by the inputted signal. CONSTITUTION: An optical sensor(LSP) senses a light incident through a display surface of an LCD panel(400), and outputs an analog signal having position information on the incident light to supply the signal to a reader(500). The reader(500) controls a driving of the optical sensor(LSP) such that the optical sensor(LSP) can sense the light by responding to a control signal, and converts the analog signal into a digital signal. The digital signal is transmitted to a driver(600). The driver(600) supplies the control signal to the reader(500), and outputs a driving signal for driving the LCD panel(400) by responding to the digital signal.
