A power stabilizer for an induction heating cooker is provided to enable the induction heating cooker to uniformly heat food by proportionally varying an amount of an input current according to variation of an input voltage. An induction heating cooker includes an LC resonator, an induction heating portion, and a DSP(Digital Signal Processor), which includes an A/D converter(201), a calculator(203), a first adder(204), a multiplier(205), a second adder(206), a PI controller(207), and a PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) generator(209). The calculator detects magnitudes of an input current and an input voltage and outputs a compensation signal for compensating for the input current according to the input voltage. The first adder adds the input current compensation signal to the input current. The multiplier multiples the input voltage by a power coefficient. The second adder adds an output from the multiplier to an output from the first adder. The PI(Proportional-Integral) controller performs PI control on an output from the second adder. The PWM generator supplies a PWM signal to an IGBT(Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor). |
