A packing case/moisture-proof paper eliminating apparatus and a method of manufacturing the same are provided to automatically eliminate an upper cover, a lower case, and upper and lower moisture-proof papers. The upper cover/moisture-proof paper eliminating unit(2) eliminates an upper cover of a packing case(B) and an upper moisture-proof paper by an upper cover eliminating portion(23) and an upper moisture-proof paper eliminating portion(33). A base plate automatic supply unit(41) has a base plate supply portion(42) and a base plate transferring and stacking member(82). A packing case rotating unit(92) changes upper and down positions of the packing case by rotating a rotary body portion(106) in a state of putting a base plate on an upper portion of the packing case. A lower case and moisture-proof paper eliminating unit(135) has a lower case eliminating portion(149) and a lower moisture-proof paper portion(153).
