PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crusher with a magnet capable of optionally and simultaneously or continuously performing either of a crushing operation or a sorting operation. SOLUTION: The crusher with a magnet is provided with a pair of crushing jaws 16, 17 of which at least one side is rocked, a hydraulic cylinder 19 rocking the crushing jaws 16, 17, an electric magnet 23, an electric power generator 24 feeding to the electric magnet 23, a hydraulic motor 25 driving the generator 24, main hydraulic circuits L1, L2 feeding pressure oil for rocking the crusher jaws 16, 17, a motor driving hydraulic circuit L21 branched from the main hydraulic circuits L1, L2 and feeding pressure oil to the hydraulic motor 25, and a switching valve V1 switching the supply of pressure oil from the main hydraulic circuits L1, L2 to the motor driving hydraulic circuit L21.
