PURPOSE:To prevent the front end part of a pillar cover from partly separating from the surface of a glass for avoiding deterioration in the exterior view of the pillar cover, by providing separation preventing pawls at the glass side end part of the pillar cover so that the separation preventing pawls are entered and retained into a bond for fixing the glass. CONSTITUTION:There are integrally incorporated separation preventing pawls 11 with a separation preventing resin member 10 wrapped in and secured to the front end part 2b or hem of a pillar cover 2, which are arranged in positions along the longitudinal direction of the member 10 and which are in an arrow head shape rising at a right angle to the member 10. Upon attaching of the pillar cover 2 to a front pillar 1, the separation preventing pawls 11 are deeply entered into a bond 4 for fixing a front glass 3, by strongly pressing the front end part 2b of the pillar cover 2 against the surface of the front glass 3, and therefore, the separation preventing pawls 11 are secured, thereby an attachment condition having a satisfactory exterior appearance without the pillar cover 2 being partly separated, may be obtained. |
