<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter for an optical recording medium which is free of deviation in selective reflection wavelength and distortion of a reproduced image even if an angle of incidence varies and can prevent information light and reference light from irregularly being reflected by a reflecting film of the optical recording medium to prevent noise from being generated, and provide the optical recording medium capable of high-density recording using the filter, etc. <P>SOLUTION: The optical recording medium has a 1st substrate, a recording layer where information is recorded by using a holography, an optical compensation layer, a filter layer, and a 2nd substrate in this order, and the filter layer is a cholesteric liquid crystal layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
