PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor and an image processing program which can save a processing to a useless band memory region. SOLUTION: An image data existence region where bit map image data exists within a band region is obtained from an intermediate code. The bit map image data is developed to a band memory region of a width corresponding to the image data existence region. An image reproduction signal generated from the developed bit map image data is outputted to a printing engine. A capacity of a band memory which develops the bit map image data is limited to a band width corresponding to the image data existence region. The bit map image data converted from the intermediate code is developed to the band memory region. In the case where the image data existence region in the band region is narrower than a printing plane width, the band width can make the band memory region small. A useless initialization process and the like can be reduced, and a processing man-hour necessary for development can be reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
