<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxide-based dielectric ceramic obtained by the combustion synthesis and having excellent dielectric characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The reaction materials include: at least the metal powders including titanium being the group 4 elements having the specific surface area of 0.01-2 m<SP>2</SP>/g; the carbonate of at least one element selected from strontium, barium and calcium which are group 2 elements; and substances which contain the group 1 elements or NH<SB>4</SB>and generates oxygen by heating. The dielectric ceramic is obtained by blending the above reaction materials in the prescribed ratios, respectively and performing the combustion synthesis at an adiabatic flame temperature of ≥1,500°C. The ceramic has a relative permittivity of ≥15 and dielectric loss tangent of <0.01. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
