PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an astigmatic composite lens to be molded simply. SOLUTION: The method comprises the steps of: mounting a photocurable resin 10 on the molding transfer surface of a core 2 that can be inserted into or extracted from a cylinder mold 3; when a glass lens 1 is fitted to the cylinder mold 3 with a pressing ring 4, clamping the flange part 1A of the glass lens 1 by a predetermined force with the pressing ring 4 that is varied in thickness by forming notches 5 at at least two oppositely facing positions on the circumference; distorting the glass lens 1 to the direction of the notches 5 of the pressing ring 4 in this clamping step; getting the photocurable resin 10 closely attached between the distorted glass lens 1 and the molding transfer surface of the core 2 in such a state that the core 2 is inserted in the cylinder mold 3; and projecting light to this closely attached photocurable resin 10.
