PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection apparatus capable of freely controlling the direction of an inspection means with a simple configuration and obtaining exact information from inside of a body cavity. SOLUTION: Between both of outer and inner capsules 1 and 2 each having cylinder parts 1a and 2a, a liquid sealing part 3 in which a liquid is sealed is formed, and a circuit board 10 provided with LEDs 11, objective optical systems 12 and a solid imaging device 13 is provided fixedly inside of the inner capsule 2. At the lower position of a fitting block 15, a battery 16 is mounted. The position G of of the center of gravity of the inner capsule 2 is arranged at a position deflected to a lower side from the center line C in the longitudinal direction of the inner capsule 2. A pair of operation rods 17a and 17b consisting of bar magnet in a direction orthogonal to the center lien C are provided at the fitting block 15, and a cam member 18 rotate-driven by a motor 19 is arranged between them rotatably.
