<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for driving an actuator element containing a polypyrrole film having large generating force and mechanical strength, large expansion ratio and speed of response and doping CF<SB>3</SB>SO<SB>3</SB>-. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for driving the actuator element, the actuator element contains a conductive polymer and the conductive polymer is a polypyrrole in which a trifluoromethanesulfonate ion and/or anion containing a plurality of fluorine atoms to the center atom is entrapped as a dopant and the polypyrrole film is heat-treated in a solution for heat treatment and the polypyrrole film is heat-treated in a solution for heat treatment and voltage is applied in an electrolytic solution for driving to the heat-treated polypyrrole film to drive the actuator element containing the polypyrrole. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
