<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discotic liquid crystalline compound which has low wavelength dispersibility having not been realized by conventional discotic liquid crystalline compounds, and to provide a thin film using the discotic liquid crystal. <P>SOLUTION: A compound represented by the general formula (DI), and a thin film formed from a liquid crystalline composition containing the compound are disclosed. Therein, Y<SP>11</SP>to Y<SP>13</SP>are each methine or a nitrogen atom; L<SP>1</SP>to L<SP>3</SP>are each a single bond or a divalent bonding group; H<SP>1</SP>to H<SP>3</SP>are each a prescribed five-membered ring; R<SP>1</SP>to R<SP>3</SP>are each a group containing a heterogeneous condensed ring structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
