<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating a zinc raw material by which, upon treatment for a zinc raw material in wet type zinc refining, when the zinc raw material is treated with an acidic solution containing sulfuric acid, silica or the like eluted into the acidic solution containing sulfuric acid are precipitated in a rapid form where solid-liquid separation is facilitated. <P>SOLUTION: Regarding the method for treating a zinc raw material, in a wet type zinc refining stage where zinc is extracted from a zinc raw material, upon leaching the roasted zinc raw material using an acidic solution containing sulfuric acid, one or more selected from an Mn concentration, an Mg concentration and an Fe concentration are beforehand controlled to≤3 g/L in the case of the Mn concentration, to≤10 g/L in the case of the Mg concentration, and to≤1 g/L in the case of the Fe concentration, and thereafter, the zinc raw material is leached. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
