A composite tube where the outer surface of a tube is coated with a foam is characterized in that the foam is a rod-like foam with a layer, 40% or more of the rod-like foam in a cross-section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the foam has a substantially sectoral profile formed by long and short arc portions on two large and small concentric circles and two straight line portions extending radially in the outer circumferential direction from the center of the concentric circles, and conditions of formula (1) are satisfied. 0.5<a/b<2.5 ..... formula (1) (In the formula, a represents the length of one half of the sum of the length at the long arc portion and the length at the short arc portion of the substantially sectoral profile, and b represents the length of the straight line portion of the substantially sectoral profile.)
