A device for detecting and indicating residual quantity of molding tube for punching binding machine is provided to allow users to identify the residual quantity of the molding tube by detecting the residual length thereof using one or more detecting sensors and by indicating it, so as to minimize the material source. The punching binding machine comprises: tubular guide pipes(3,3'); a driving motor(M); a pair of feeding rolls(4), driven by the driving motor(M); a die(5), having a supplying hole(5a); a rotary cutter(6); and a limit switch(9), arranged at a determined height over the rotary cutter(6); wherein a molding tube(2) is inserted through the tubular guide pipes(3,3'), and fed by the feeding rolls(4) so that it is supported or cut by the rotary cutter(6). The device for detecting and indicating the residual quantity of molding tube for a punching binding machine comprises: a detecting sensor(10), arranged in one side under the limit switch(9) so as to detect the residual quantity of the molding tube(2); and a controller, indicating the residual quantity. |
