DEVICE CLEANING OF LIGHT PROJECTING SURFACE AND LIGHT RECEIVING SURFACE OF PROBE FOR DETECTING STATE OF PARTICLES IN TREATMENT WATER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device of cleaning the light projecting surface and light receiving surface of a probe for detecting a state of particles in treatment water constituted so as to be made hart to cause not only the turbulent flow due to a washing liquid stream but also the readhesion of suspended solids. SOLUTION: The device of cleaning the probe comprises the long washing liquid supply part provided to the probe having a light projecting surface for emitting a laser beam and a light receiving part for receiving a scattered beam from its light receiving surface to detect the state of the particles in the treatment water due to the laser beam and a light projecting surface jet nozzle is provided in the vicinity of the leading end of the cleaning liquid supply part in order to spray the cleaning liquid on the light projecting surface of the probe from the cleaning device so that the angle of the projection line of the cleaning liquid when the cleaning liquid is projected on the surface crossing the laser beam axis surface, which is formed by the center line of the light projecting part and light receiving surface of the probe, at a right angle is 30-60°with respect to the light projecting part and the angle of the projection line of the cleaning liquid when the cleaning liquid projected on the surface parallel to the laser beam axial surface is 40-50°.
