PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position correction apparatus capable of generating position correction information from a reference position on a reference point and a physical position and capable of highly accurately correcting a position in the case of expressing a measured point in a map prepared in the past by setting the reference position to a position on the map prepared in the past or a position where the physical position is measured. SOLUTION: The position correction apparatus 630 calculates a moving distance from the position of the reference point on the map prepared in the past to the position of a reference point at the time of measurement. The position correction apparatus 630 generates correction information from the moving distance by generating a graph such as a counter diagram obtained by connecting lines having an equal moving distance on the basis of the calculated moving distance. By correcting the measured position on the basis of the generated correction information, the measured position can be highly accurately corrected and arranged on the position in the map prepared in the past.
