MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL, E-MAIL ARRIVAL INQUIRY METHOD, AND PROGRAM

A portable mobile communication terminal having an e-mail function and an answering service further has a function of automatically performing inquiry at every time interval set by the user oneself in addition to checking of the presence/absence of data accumulated in a center when the power is turned on or a communication is ended. With this function, even if the use frequency of the mobile communication terminal is low, the user can reliably check the presence/absence of e-mails and data stored by the automatic answering function. To inform the user of the fact that automatic inquiry is set, a function of displaying the fact on the waiting screen is provided.
